Thu Nguyen Keojampa

Thu’s introduction to mahjong was seeing her mom play with her friends. This was their form of friendship amongst their community as they were all immigrants in America. Naturally Thu played with her friends when she was younger and today she continues to share her love for the game with her adult friends. The Green Mahjong Dragons is a passion project for Thu and she hopes her passion shines through in her teaching.

Brooke Keller

Brooke is a bonafide game nerd and a former education teacher. Brooke has taught over 100 students how to play American Mahjong. In the process of teaching, Brooke has shared her passion for the game and given all her students the confidence to play on their own. Brooke is a mother of three and her day job is a realtor. In her free time she loves to Mahj and play tennis. We are so honored to have Brooke as part of the Green Mahjong team!

Noreen Kane

Noreen has a fiery passion for teaching everyone around her how to play Mahjong. That fiery passion is the reason why the Green Mahjong Dragons was created. Noreen lives by the philosophy that the more people she teaches the more people she has to play with. Noreen has been playing actively for 2 years and teaching for 1 year.

Lauren Nelson

Lauren wasn’t sure Mahjong was something she could figure out when she was first introduced to it. Mahjong seemed overwhelming at first. Fast forward a year and a half and Lauren is obsessed. Mahjong has become more than a game. Mahjong is a gateway to new friends and connections.
